CCKWF is a 501(c)3 non profit company formed to honor the memory of a beloved Marine, Son, Brother, and Friend, Corporal Christopher Kelly Willis. Christopher loved the Marine Corps, he loved his brothers and sisters in the 6th Engineer Support Battalion, and those that served with him in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 1st Marine Division, as well as those men that served with Chris on the Special Recon Team in Iraq. CCKWF honors Christopher’s memory by rewarding Marines that serve to protect our country. CCKWF was formed in 2005, shortly after Christopher’s passing, and since that time CCKWF has supplied countless care packages, and Ka-Bar knives to those returning from war, and those currently serving in war. In addition, CCKWF has attended the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Battle Creek Marine Corps Balls and gave away all expense paid Cruises, a trip to Disney World, tickets to professional and collegiate sporting events, tickets to the Super Bowl (!) and other Great Rewards for Great Warriors. In 2007 a bulk of the foundation's funding was used to purchase proper educational supplies for an elementary school in Iraq which is currently assisted by our U.S. Marine Corps. The supplies provided work towards changing the hearts and minds of the Iraqis and helped us continue our mission of providing Great Rewards for Great Warriors!  In 2008 CCKWF is establishing a long-term program that intends to provide educational scholarships and other significant support to the family members of Michigan military personnel lost in current combat.
