The CCKWF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in memory and in honor of a beloved brother, son, friend and Marine, is committed to supporting the men and women of our armed services by providing Great Rewards for Great Warriors. The mission of the CCKWF is to continue to perpetuate the memory of Corporal Christopher Kelly Willis by fostering and contributing to the welfare of those things in life he loved and cared for the most, the world’s children and the United States Marines. Because of the generosity of CCKWF contributors, Great Rewards for Great Warriors have included:
-
All expense paid cruises for the three Marines of the Year as recognized by the Sixth Engineer Support Battalion, Battle Creek, MI.
-
Tickets to the Super Bowl and Detroit Lions football games for military personnel and their families.
-
-
Care packages to active duty military at the request of their families.
-
Commissioned the building of a Fallen Warriors Memorial Cabinet to honor the fallen heroes at the Battle Creek, MI base. Marines stationed at the base asked the CCKWF for assistance with this project, and the Foundation was pleased to provide the cabinet which will be dedicated at the end of the 2009 Warrior Ride on Sunday, September 27, 2009.

In 2009 the CCKWF’s main mission will be the funding of college scholarships for the benefit of Michigan children who have lost their parent (or whose parent has been permanently disabled) in combat.
